Skill mapping: A moderator among managerial effectiveness and employee development

Abstract


According Human Relational Approach the objective of high organizational productivity, effectiveness and efficiency can be achieved through Employee’s Development and effectiveness. Employee’s Development and effectiveness can be enhanced by improving the employee’s skills. Requisite employee’s skills development is dependent on Skill Mapping. The aim of this paper is to know the impact of Skill Mapping is effective on Managerial Effectiveness and Employee Development. On the basis of the results and findings received from the data analysis, it was concluded that the Skill Mapping has positive and significant relationship with Managerial Effectiveness as well as the relationship between Skill Mapping and Employee Development was positive and significant. Study further established that there was positive and significant relationship between Managerial Effectiveness and Employee Development and also there was significant relationship between Managerial Effectiveness and Employee Development.
