Abstract

  • · Abstract.

The sample of a-Fe2O3 synthesized via co-precipitation method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) used to characterized the powder synthesized of the a-Fe2O3. The sample of a-Fe2O3 was found as nanoparticle materials (NPs), which average size t = 64.0 nm. The maximum temperature was 46 oC and the needed time to reach this temperature was 35 min with the concentration of 1.0 mg of a-Fe2O3 /1ml of deionizing water (DI). The heating rate (DT/Dt o C/ sec) and the specific absorption rate (SAR W/g ) of the a-Fe2O3 NPs were found to be 0.03 oC/ sec and 126 W/ g respectively.
