Model of water quality improvement with diversification of energy in the watershed

Abstract


In order to meet the necessities of life, human beings need natural resources such as land, water and air; however the availability of these natural resources is limited in quality and quantity, so we need a good and wise natural resource management. The quality of water flowing in West Tarum channel is one of the declining natural resources, so it requires a new concept to improve the quality of water in the downstream side by utilizing the energy content. A model of water quality improvement with energy diversification on watershed is a reformulation of the role of water as matter and energy to support environmentally sustainable development. The model of water quality improvement with diversification of energy on the watershed at downstream of the West Tarum channel will increase the performance of energy utilization on water treatment and purification installation, save fuel consumption and reduce CO2 emissions according to Clean Development Mechanism program of the Kyoto Protocol. The concept of the Model of water quality improvement with diversification of energy in the West Tarum channel downstream is done with comprehensive reduction reformulation concept modeling in the parameters of physics, chemistry and biology by harnessing the energy of water flow according to the principles of environmental sustainable development.
