The effect of Gum Arabic on CoFe2O4 nano-particles energy absorption at 100W-100 kHz induction

Abstract


We have studied the specific absorption ratio (SAR W/g), of four Gum Arabic samples with different concentration 20, 40, 60, and 80 mg/ml, coated 1mg/ml of CoFe2O4 magnetic nano-particles (MNPs). The sample of CoFe2O4 synthesized by the co-precipitation method, and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD 6000). The study carried out in induction heating operating at 100W-100kHz, indicated that: SAR values increase when the Gum Arabic concentration decrease. The specific heat capacity of  Gum Arabic(CG J/g. K) concentration  decrease when increasing the concentration of the Gum Arabic.
