Gender Diversity in Singapore Boards

Shital Jhunjhunwala

Abstract

Across the world countries are making efforts to increase gender diversity in boards with the assumption that diverse boards will increase board effectiveness. Our research found that gender diversity in Singapore boards is a far cry. The profile of female and male directors is very different. There was no significant relationship between board size and gender diversity
