INFLUENCE OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC VARIABLES ON ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN IT INDUSTRY

Abstract


This paper deals with influence of socio-economic variables on the organizational culture in IT industry. The study mainly concentrates on the dimensions Openness, Confrontation, Trust, Authenticity, Proaction, Autonomy, Collaboration and Experimentation in respect to the demographic variables. The primary purpose of the present study was to identify the organizational culture in IT industry. The data for the research work was collected through the method of questionnaire schedule. To prove the research hypothesis the various tests such as chi-square, t- Test and ANOVA are being used. Thus the result exhibits that socio-economic variables influence the organizational culture in IT companies.
