Women Empowerment through Sangharsh Self Help Group: A Case Study

Women have been challenging the existing norms and cultures from time to time which is a sign of empowerment. This is how they have been effectively promoting their well- being. Self Help Groups (SHGs) have encouraged the participation of women in their empowerment both in social and economic aspects. The present study addresses women empowerment through self-help group in village Gangehati district Pratapgarh of Uttar Pradesh. The information required for the study was collected from both primary and secondary sources. Participatory Rural Appraisal Tools were applied to collect the information.
