Abstract

In the evolving investment environment, Generation D investors (Digital Generation) have learned and adopted new ways and modes of investing showing a drift from the traditional offline through broker approach to more flexible online direct investing. In this study, survey approach has been adopted using a structured questionnaire with 559 sample size. The study has been taken within the geographical area of Central India. It has been found from the analysis that investing modes of investors have significant association with demographic factors of gender and age but no significant association with qualification. Analysis has been done using Chi Square test and Phi & Cramer’s V Value test.

The results of the research paper would contribute in developing understanding of the shifting trends in investment behavior of investors hence contribute to an important insight on investor’s behavior.
