Factors Affecting Higher Education under Graduating Students Attitude towards Entrepreneurship

The main purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting entrepreneurship attitude of prospective final year under graduating students at University of Gondar. Statistical population of this study consisted of all prospective under graduating students (N=3959), that 363 of them were selected as research sample using proportionate stratified sampling method. From 363 respondents 294 respondents appropriately filled and returned the questionnaires and then the data was coded and run by using statistical software SPSS version 20.Both descriptive and explanatory research design were used in this study and the main instrument to collect data from respondents was questionnaire which its reliability was established by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The study considers entrepreneurship attitude as outcome variable and gender, faculty of the study, academic performance, entrepreneurial family background as explanatory variables. Because of the independent variables were both dummy and likert scale ANOCOVA regression model was used. Primary and secondary data were used in the study. The collected data of the study were analyzed by using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Generally University of Gondar under graduating students have high attitude towards entrepreneurship.
