Abstract


The project is developed based on the concept of Recruitment and Selection. Recruitment is the process to discover the sources of manpower to meet the requirements of the staffing schedule and to employ effective measures for attracting that manpower in adequate numbers to facilitate effective selection of an efficient working force.

The practice or activity carried on by the organization with the primary purpose of identifying and attracting potential employees.   Selection is the process of determining the best candidates from those who apply, arranging interviews, tests, references. The objective of the selection process is to determine whether an applicant meets the qualifications for a specific job and to choose the applicant who most likely to perform well in the job. Selection is the process by which an organization attempts to identify applicants with the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics that will help it achieve its goal.
