Abstract

This study is an empirical investigation of The Effect of Brainstorming Strategy on Grade Eight Students Achievement in General Science in Ajlun Governorate – Jordan. The study involved a sample the eighth grade students in Ajlun Governorate in the scholastic year 2010-2011.

The results show the students using the brainstorming strategy scored significantly higher of those who where taught by the traditional method.

The study showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the students achievements that can be attributed to sex. It also came up with recommendations that should be taken into consideration by the concerned specialists and educational authorities.
